Casa Canavesi-Bossi, better known to the citizens of Busto Arsizio as ‘Conventino’ is a historic building whose construction can be placed between the end of the 15th century and the 20th century, and located in the historic center of the town. The Municipality, in order to meet the housing needs of the town, has planned its recovery and conservative restoration aimed at the creation of social housing and the restoration of the shops that already existed on the ground floor in the past.
The project, financed with PNRR funds (National Recovery and Resilience Plan) involves the construction of a total of 19 apartments, 3 shops, a multipurpose room, a wellness room, a co-working space, a bistro as well as the redevelopment of the external areas.
The design process was carried out in coordination, as well as between the Project Team, the Company and the Municipality, with the Superintendence of Fine Arts, given the historical importance of the building.

La Casa Canavesi-Bossi, meglio conosciuta dai cittadini di Busto Arsizio come ‘Conventino’ è un edificio storico la cui costruzione è da collocarsi tra la fine del XV secolo e il XX secolo, e posto nel centro storico della cittadina. Il Comune, per rispondere alle esigenze abitative della cittadina, ha previsto il suo recupero e restauro conservativo volti alla realizzazione di residenze sociali e al ripristino dei negozi che già in passato esistevano al piano terra.
Il progetto, finanziato con fondi PNRR (Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza) prevede la realizzazione di un totale di 19 appartamenti, 3 negozi, una sala polivalente, una sala benessere, un co-working, un bistrot oltre che alla riqualificazione delle aree esterne.
Il processo progettuale è stato svolto in coordinamento, oltre che tra il Team di Progetto, l’Impresa e il Comune, con la Soprintendenza alle Belle Arti, stando l’importanza storica dell’edificio.
